    Silicon carbide heat exchange tube

    Our silicon carbide heat exchange tubes are formed by extrusion and is sintered under high temperature.The product uses laser calibrator to monitor the outside diameter of the pipe. Qualified products have even wall, smooth surface, good roundness and straightness. According to customer's special requirements, we can polish the outer diameter of both ends of the tube locally.

    Typical application

    Used in tube and shell heat exchanger equipment.

    It is suitable for chemical processes of various chemicals such as cooling, condensation, heating, evaporation, film evaporation and absorption.

    Especially suitable for highly corrosive chemicals as follows.

    Strong corrosive acids such as bromine, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, and hydrochloric acid.

    Sodium hydroxide or other strong alkali.

    Halogenated compounds.

    Salt solutions, and organic compounds.

As silicon carbide has excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high thermal conductivity, high hardness, and wear resistance, silicon carbide heat exchangers are particularly suitable for high temperature, high pressure, strong acid and alkali corrosion, high-speed airflow erosion, particle wear and other harsh working environments; it is an excellent high-performance alternative to graphite heat exchanger, stainless steel heat exchanger, metal tantalum heat exchanger, hastelloy heat exchanger and fluoroplastic heat exchanger.

    High efficiency

    Silicon carbide heat exchanger has excellent heat exchange efficiency. Compared with traditional heat exchanger equipment, it is more compact and small in size. It saves 70% of the installation space than glass-lined heat exchanger (Smaller heat exchange area required for the same heat transfer). As it is easy to disassemble, the silicon carbide heat exchanger tube can directly be cleaned or inspected through tube side, so the maintenance cost is low.
